Bungled update

1st time using since last "update"...NO LONGER IMPRESSED. Previously was able to key in my own address and literally drive through the entire neighborhood (as it was circa 2007). Today all I can do is drive up the nearby freeway and get no closer. Most spots I enter return as "no results were found" or "an unexpected error occurred.
I cant remember if this was a purchased app or not, but emoji has the answer
